Day 1: Fly UK to Rome
On arrival in Rome, you'll be transfered to your hotel for a 1 night stay.
Welcome to Rome, the Eternal City. No visit is complete without taking a trip back to ancient history at the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Other must-dos include climbing the Spanish Steps, tossing a coin in the Trevi Fountain, and visiting Vatican City. Finish your stay with a plate of pasta – for the best restaurants, we suggest exploring the Trastevere neighbourhood.
Day 2: Transfer to Civitavecchia, and embark Regatta

Livorno is an Italian port city on the west coast of Tuscany and 90km from the heart of Florence . It’s known for its seafood, Renaissance-era fortifications, and modern harbor with a cruise ship port. Its central Terrazza Mascagni, a waterside promenade with checkerboard paving, is the city’s main gathering place. The bastions of the 16th-century Fortezza Vecchia face the harbor and open onto Livorno’s canal-laced Venezia Nuova quarter.
Day 4: Naples, Italy
Welcome to Naples, the city of the sun. History lovers can’t miss a visit to Pompeii, the home of Europe’s most compelling archaeological site. For those looking for a taste of the Amalfi Coast, the beautiful blue waters of Capri are just a short ferry away. Naples is also the birthplace of pizza, so make sure you savour a slice during your stay.
Day 5: Messina, Italy
Welcome to Messina, the door of Sicily. Despite being the site of historical disaster, suffering from plague, cholera, and earthquakes in times past, today Messina is a thriving port town with plenty to explore. During your visit, be sure to check out Piazza del Duomo, sample Sicilian cuisine and wander along the colourful seafront.
Day 6: Valletta, Malta
Welcome to Valletta, the fortress city. This tiny city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famed for its dusty Baroque buildings and mesmerising sea views. Shop for crafts and jewellery on Republic Street, explore the Upper and Lower Barrakka Gardens and uncover history at Parliament House and the ruins of the Royal Opera House.

Famous for its distinctive terracotta rooftops, gleaming limestone streets and medieval architecture, no trip to Croatia is complete without a visit to Dubrovnik. Walk along the city walls, take a cable car to Mount Srd for impeccable views or kayak to the turquoise waters of Lokrum Island.
Day 9: Split, Croatia
Welcome to Split! This atmospheric city is stunningly located between coastal mountains and the glistening turquoise waters of the Adriatic. Discover UNESCO site Diocletian’s Palace, amble down the postcard-perfect Riva Promenade and explore the cobblestoned maze of Old Town. Once you’re done exploring, get into the spirit of Fjaka, the Dalmatian art of doing nothing, as you relax at one of the dozens of bars, cafes and restaurants lining the city’s walls.
Day 10: Zadar, Croatia
Zadar, a city on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, is known for the Roman and Venetian ruins of its peninsular Old Town. There are several Venetian gates in the city walls. Surrounding the Roman-era Forum is 11th-century St. Mary’s Convent, with religious art dating to the 8th century. There’s also the grand, 12th-century St. Anastasia’s Cathedral and the round, 9th-century pre-Romanesque Church of St. Donatus.
Day 11: Rijeka, Croatia
