Southeast of Christchurch, the prominent Port Hills slope down to the city’s port on Lyttelton Harbour. The town’s arty, independent and bohemian vibe is stronger than ever and is a hub for great bars, cafes and shops.

Bay of Islands is the first place in New Zealand to be settled by the Europeans. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife as dolphins and other marine life are often spotted in this area!
