Palma, Majorca.
Mallorca is the largest
and most visited island in
the Balearics. It accounts
for a little less than half
a million inhabitants in a
surface of 3,660 square
kilometres. The island
is approximately 100
km wide from east to
west and at least 75 km
from north to south. The
climate is mild in the
winter and pleasantly hot
in the summer, mitigated
by a wind coming from
the Sierra del Norte
Mountains, with peaks up
to 1,445 metres.
Day 04.
Barcelona,
Spain. Barcelona is the
capital of the Catalonia
region. It lies along the
Mediterranean coast
between the mouths
of the rivers Besós
and Llobregat. In the
Northwest a set of hills
run parallel to the coast.
In the Southwest the old
town lies along the port
and is divided by the
famous “La Rambla”.
Day 05.
Leisure at Sea
Day 06.
Toulon, France.
Combining the glamour
of the French Riviera with
the feel of a typical French
town, Toulon gives you
the chance to discover the
real Cote D’Azur. A former
military port encircled
by ancient fortifications,
Toulon remains totally
French. Where the ship
docks, for example, the
promenade is lined with
cafes where you can enjoy
a typical local dish of fresh
mussels. Or you might
prefer to simply relax with
a glass of wine or a coffee
as you watch the local
fishermen mend their
nets.
Day 07.
Monaco,
Monte Carlo. Tiny, but
packed with fun, Monte
Carlo offers a wonderful
combination of history,
beauty, entertainment
and leisure. The wealthiest
spot in Monaco, Monte
Carlo is an enchanting
place, known as the
international capital
of luxury and for its
celebrity-sightings,
casinos and nightlife.
Yet the old world shines
through in its art and
architecture. Palaces,
cathedrals and museums
dot this small municipality
in an old town full of rich
history.
Day 08.
Genoa,
Disembark P&O Ventura
after breakfast, and
board coach then depart
for
overnight stay in
Naydens, France.
Day 09.
After breakfast
depart Neydens and
travel via the Burgundy
wine region to Paris.
Overnight stay in Paris.
Day 10.
Leave Paris
after breakfast and then
continue onto Calais for
the ferry back to Dover,
and onwards to your
point of departure
