Day 1. Embark Harwich, England

Day 2/3. Paris/Normandy (Le Havre), France

Tour: Paris & Reims, 2 days. Make the most of this overnight stop on a 2-day adventure combining the City of Lights with a visit to Reims in the heart of champagne country. A scenic drive brings you to Paris where you’ll see many iconic landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees, Opera House, Louvre Museum and Hotel des Invalides – Napoleon’s burial place. Savour a 2-hour lunch cruising down the Seine for a unique viewpoint of sites like the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral. After souvenir shopping you’ll leave for Reims where the evening is yours to spend as you wish. Day 2 starts with a walking tour of Reims taking in the 802-year old Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral, Place Royale, Hotel de Ville and many other historic attractions, before arriving at Champagne Mumm for a tasting visit. Lunch with champagne follows in one of the factory’s famed cellars, then a leisurely drive back to your ship.

Day 4. Leisure At Sea

Day 5/6. Bordeaux (La Rochelle), France

Tour: Taste of Margaux. Visit two of Bordeaux’s most renowned wineries — the spectacular Chateau Giscours and Chateau Kirwan. There you’ll enjoy a tasting of some of their highly sought after Margaux blends. Intensely coloured and perfumed, the best of these wines are models of refinement with few parallels among the wines of Bordeaux. Equally hard to beat is the visual beauty of the chateaus and their encircling slopes of vineyards.

Day 7/8. Bilbao, Spain

Tour: Cooking Lesson & Dinner with Michelin starred head chef, Daniel Garcia, at his world famous restaurant Zortziko. Find out why Daniel is ranked among the foremost chefs in the world as he hosts a cooking show that unlocks the mysteries behind Basque cuisine. You’ll also have the chance to take part in a cookery class, while talking directly to the chef. Later, enjoy a memorable dinner served in the renowned restaurant itself.

Day 9. Vigo, Spain

Tour: Combarro & Pazo Capitana Cellars. First you’ll make for picturesque Combarro for a walking tour with a guide who’ll share their insights about the culture, history and monuments of this intriguing town, followed by some free time for shopping. Later, continue onwards towards the town of Cambados and Pazo Capitana cellars - a local winery surrounded by vineyards with a beautiful building dating back to the early 15th century.

Day 10. Porto (Leixoes), Portugal

Tour: The Douro Valley Winery Tour. The wine valleys of the Douro and its tributaries provide some of the most spectacular scenery in Portugal. First stop will be at the charming town of Amarante filled with fine Romanesque architecture. Enjoy a brief walk along the City Hall and the Roman Bridge ending at São Gonçalo Church. After your walk, there’ll be free time for leisure before heading onwards to Regua to visit a local wine estate where you’ll learn all about the wines produced in the region.

Day 11/12. Leisure At Sea

Day 13. Disembark Harwich, England
